You were born in 1878 in Milpur, a town seven miles away from Hasan Abdal, a famous city in Pakistan.

He had utmost devotion to the Sheikh and Hakeem-ul-Ummat also had complete trust in him. Once Hakeem-ul-Ummat said, “I have no worries about leaving this world while there is this Mufti Muhammad Hasan after me.”
Hazrat Allama Khalid Mahmood used to say that once when I met Mufti Muhammad Hassan, Hazrat took out a watermelon from under his bed. I had never tasted such a taste before and it was not the season for watermelons, but the watermelon was fresh and fragrant, even though it was one of the watermelons. It did not smell, then Allama Sahib said that it seemed that the watermelon had come from heaven
Hakim of Islam, Hazrat Qari Muhammad Tayyab Qasmi, Mahtamam of Darul Uloom, Deoband, said that Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Hasan Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him) was the trustee of the sciences and knowledge of Hazrat Hakeem Ummat (may Allah have mercy on him) and had a high position in the external and internal sciences of his Sheikh and predecessors. Your Reformed Majlis used to be held in Nila Gonbad, Lahore before Asr prayer. You used to deliver the sermons of Hazrat Thanvi.
First Hazrat Maulana Mufti Ubaidullah used to read, besides Hazrat Maulana Vakil Ahmed Sherwani (may Allah have mercy on him), Hazrat Maulana Abdul Rahman Ashrafi and Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Sufi Sarwar (may Allah have mercy on him) performed this service. He continued this assembly after Asr prayer in Jamia Ashrafia until the end of his life and now his younger son Maulana Fazl-u-Raheem Ashrafi (may Allah have mercy on him) is continuing Jamia Ashrafia.
